Weigh Feeder/Platform Scales With SFT Technologys
In this page, you will learn the the applications and features of the Weigh Feeder or Platform Scales With SFT Technologys .
The SFT exploits the dependency of a vibrating wire’s resonant frequency on its tension to measure applied loads. Through mechanical means the applied load is transmitted to the wire, causing a change in its resonant frequency from which the value of the applied load is computed by the onboard microprocessor.
A fully calibrated (linearized, spanned and temperature compensated) signal is transmitted via RS 485 serial communication to the controller. K-Tron Smart Force Transducer Catalog

Definition of Accuracy
Weigh feeder accuracy is a measure of how closely a feeder discharges material at the desired flow rate. A complete expression of accuracy includes measurements of repeatability and linearity. Repeatability measures the extent of discharge variability at a given flow rate. Linearity gauges the deviation of average flow rate over the feeder’s full operating range. Measurements of both repeatability and linearity are made by independently weighing a series of timed catch samples obtained from the discharge stream. Sample weights are then used to compute repeatability and linearity statistics.
