Features and quality
Over 50 years ago WOHWA developed the first weigh belt feeders. Since that time WOHWA produces all the components for all WOHWA weigh belt feeders in house at its factory in Germany.

The robust WOHWA weigh belt feeders are available in belt widths from 16” (400mm) to 56” (1400mm) to satisfy all customer requirements of capacity and can handle all variations in material characteristics, flow characteristics and applications.
All weigh belt feeders are furnished with troughed belts or Flexo Well belts. Precise design eliminates forces that can have an influence on the accuracy of the belt scale.
Depending on the application and the material characteristics each feeder can be furnished with different WOHWA shut off sliding gates. Type 02, 03, 08 or 01.1 can be utilised to cover a wide range of variants.

Each feeder can be furnished with different WOHWA sliding gates. Type 02, 03, 08 or 01.1 can be utilised as a shut of gate, depending on the application and the material. Each standard WOHWA gate can be driven by an e-motor 0.9kW or manually via hand wheel.
Due to the modular frame system the length and width of the WOHWA weigh belt feeder can be easily adapted to meet the customers’ needs.
Drawings of various weigh feeders can be supplied to the customer in a PDF or DWG file for approval before WOHWA begins construction.
As a result of WOHWA’s ability to produce all components and modules in house, all flanges and chutes can be quickly and easily adapted to the customer’s needs.
The multi lingual user interface of the WOHWA weighing controller GCU64 makes the whole system very user friendly.
Each shut off gate can be actuated by an electric motor or manually with a hand wheel.
The robust bolted modular system gives you a wide variety of different standard weigh belt feeders. All standard parts are laser cut in house and galvanizes.
All WOHWA belt feeders are driven by direct drives. The standard weigh belt feeder units are powered by 3kW to 7.5kW drives, depending on the length, incline and the capacity.
Numerous options are available such as covers over the whole belt.
All standard limit switches are capacitive limit switches.
All sizes of WOHWA weigh belt feeders and there available options can be delivered in promptly. All parts are hot-dip galvanised. The Motor and the bearings are maintenance-free.
All WOHWA software is written by WOHWA programmers in house. The software for the weigher can be easily adapted to the specific needs of the customer.
