Weight Feeder manufacturer Stock Equipment Company, part of the Schenck Process Group, has announced the introduction of their newest electronics control for their gravimetric and volumetric weight feeder line - the DT-9 scale Controller (DISOCONT Tersus NT). The scale controller incorporates many new features including a color graphics touch screen interface, multiple communications interfaces (Profibus, Modus, Ethernet), redundant microprocessors and PC configuration software. International customers will have a variety of languages available as well. New Stock feeder orders will incorporate the modern DT-9 electronics in their designs.
Current users of the 196NT and 196NT+ controls can easily upgrade to the Controller. The DT-9 Controller is plug compatible with their existing 196NT controls - no rewiring or changes to DCS interfaces are required. The DT-9 brings a modern interface and advanced communications to both new and old Stock weight feeders. Three versions of the Controller will be available - the DT-9 for new weight feeders, DT-9 Upgrade to upgrade existing feeder controls to the new display, and the DT-9 Legacy which allows customers to keep their existing 196NT display. The weighing controller Legacy version is scheduled to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2009 and the DT-9 and DT-9 Upgrade versions, featuring the color touch screen display, will be released in the 4th quarter.
2,Manufacturer REO-USA, Inc. Announces the REOVIB Vibratory Weight Feeder Controller
Built into IP54 aluminum enclosure, REOVIB Analog Thyristor System (ATS) 100 phase-angle controller is suited for bowl, hopper, or linear vibratory weight feeders with 16 A current rating. Unit is internally switchable for input voltages of 110 or 230 V, 50/60 Hz with 110 or 230 V, 50/60 Hz output power. For start/stop mode, enable is provided for external contact or 24 Vdc signal. Output voltage set point is adjusted via potentiometer, control voltage, or control current.
Indianapolis, IN — June 2, 2005 — Today REO-USA, Inc. deployed the newest manufacturing range of vibratory Weight Feeder Controllers, Analog Thyristor System, the ATS 100. In vibratory feed applications, it is required that variable voltage regulator be used to govern the power distribution of the electric magnet coils. The REOVIB ATS 100 is a phase-angle controller for bowl, hopper or linear vibratory weight feeders with a 16A current rating. The controllers are built into a robust aluminum enclosure with an IP54 protection rating. The unit is internally switchable for input voltages of 110V or 230V, 50/60 Hz with 110V or 230V 50/60Hz output power. For the start/stop mode, an enable is provided for an external contact or a 24V DC signal. The set point of the output voltage is adjusted by means of a potentiometer in the front panel, a control voltage 0...+10V DC or a control current 0(4)...20 mA. The control characteristics can be adjusted to suit the weight feeder unit by using internal trimmers
Umin/Umax. A switch input is also provided to enable the switching from the internal to an external setpoint. The power connection is made over input and output cables (2 m long).
