This weighing controller has been released in response to market research showing that numerous industries require a low-cost weighing controller, which encompasses Synectic Design's usual high quality design and manufacture, along with its ability to offer value for money technology.
The SY045 is a portable unit designed to be used along with other units for display purposes.
In environments where high voltages are a hazard, the loop powered controller can be used to display any parameters or measurements.
As it only requires a voltage as low as 3V DC, this can be obtained from the loop when inputs devices are connected to the unit.
Most of the parameters needed for the display are preprogrammed and any other adjustments to suit particular applications can be made using the setting buttons on the controller prior to usage.
The unit has an 18mm high six-digit LED display, housed in a wall mountable plastic casing.
Two versions of the SY045 are available, firstly the ghost version which runs off an excitation voltage provided by a load-cell excitation, secondly the loop powered version which requires a 4-20mA input.
