Position: Adam Weighing Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
The Adam T-series weighing scales are available in two versions: the TCW benchtop units with capacities up to 30kg, and the TFW free-standing floor scales with capacities up to 300kg.
Both benchtop and floor standing models are fully portable with rechargeable, long- life batteries - essential in large warehouses - and feature large capacity stainless-steel weighing platforms.
As well as offering a normal weighing function - in kilograms or pounds to suit customer's requirements - the scales have a check weighing facility which can be set to provide an audible warning if the weight of an item is above or below a preset value.
This facility allows high speed checking, without the necessity to read the display after each item.
The pre-set value can be entered by the operator, via a simple to use keypad, or by placing a sample on the platform and entering the weight directly into the memory.
The tolerance between high and low alarms can be set by the operator either as a weight or as a percentage.
All the information is displayed on the large backlit LCD display, which can be easily read at a distance even in poorly lit warehouses.
Where lighting is good, the backlight can be turned off to maximise battery life.
The keypad also provides a manual accumulation facility allowing individual weights to be stored and recalled as a cumulative total.
An optional RS232 port allows information to be downloaded to a computer or printer making inventory control simple and providing auditable records for quality assurance purposes.
The Adam T-series weighing scales with weighing controllers are among the most sensitive general purpose scales on the market and more than a match for the most demanding of weighing applications in manufacturing, warehousing and check weighing in the storeroom.
