P600 Single Board Weight Controller

Their P600 series weight controller, shown above, is a single board version of their larger P700 series system. Even though this system is smaller it’s only smaller in the the number of I/O - 8 optically isolated digital inputs, 4 optically isolated mains outputs. The rest of the board has the same processing power, memory size and loadcell channel as the larger double system. There is also 1 serial port - either RS232 or RS485.

2 features not available on the larger system is a solid state pulse output for totalising pulses and a 2x 4-20mA or 0-10V analog output ports.

This system has a weighing software for serial links to printers and Modbus protocol to link to SCADA packages or PLC’s or variable speed drives. Their in-house developed W7Linker program supports this unit.

Enclosure options are open to various weighing applications. Their standard enclosure is a 3mm thick Stainless Steel unit with lockable front lid.

Customised Control weight controller P700 shown below, consists of a top board which has the memory, CPU, power supply, communications ports, keyboard and display ports. The second board which plugs under the top board is the I/O board having a single loadcell channel, 16 optically isolated digital inputs and 8 optically isolated mains outputs.

The bottom I/O boards can be cascaded up to 4 I/O boards per top CPU board. This makes for a very versatile, powerful and expandable controller.
